2017 McDowell Mountain Music Festival Campaign Concept
The McDowell Mountain Music Festival (M3F) is a homegrown Arizona music festival featuring an eclectic mix of artists held every spring. Each year, M3F develops a new event theme for its marketing materials and overall campaign.

As my submission for the 2017 M3F Festival Campaign, I developed a concept as quirky and unique as the event itself. The M3F mascot, Mac the Cactus, zips through a classic Arizona sunset in a Jetsons-inspired landscape that is at both times retro and futuristic. This clever duality is at the heart of the event, while also touching on themes that are currently popular in music festivals like Lollapalooza and Coachella.
